Because of the epidemic, only patients who urgently need help have access to a doctor. However, the NYD platform allows short, free consultations with doctors for minor problems by phone or videoconference. To access a doctor, you need to select the area and the specific specialist on the website, then book a consultation and describe the condition or problem for which you are seeking help.
Frequently asked questions and answers:
- How does the NYD free consultation work? NYD can help you with pain and symptoms that can be identified remotely, without a physical examination. Through a secure video link, our experienced doctor will help you with your health problem. The process takes place in a few easy steps. You choose a doctor and an available appointment and fill in a questionnaire to confirm the appointment. Then follow the instructions you receive by email.
- What problems can I contact the NYD about? Given the current situation in the world, the SARS-Cov-2 outbreak makes it more difficult to contact a doctor with problems unrelated to the disease. If you find yourself in this situation, we offer you the simple option of a safe and free consultation from the comfort of your own home. You can contact us with any problems that are not life-threatening.
- Can you give me a prescription for medication? Please speak to our doctor individually to discuss the possibility of prescribing medication.
- Who are the doctors who give advice? All of our doctors have many years of experience, and deal with a wide variety of problems from their patients on a daily basis. Now they will be happy to help you free of charge and in this way help you to limit contact with other people.
- Opening hours We do not have fixed working hours, but we will try to help you as much of the day as possible.
- Can I use the service for my neighbour or my child? If you have a relative who is not able to use a computer, you can complete the questionnaire on their behalf and in their presence, and you can provide them with a video call, which they must be present for. Please follow the general recommendations for limiting the transmission of Covid-19 and do not expose your loved ones to the possibility of infection. When you want a consultation for your child, please choose a paediatrician.
- Data security Data security is ensured in accordance with the GDPR
- Who can see my questionnaire and video call? Your questionnaire and video call can only be seen by the doctor you have chosen.
- Is the data from the questionnaires stored? Questionnaire data is only used to provide an efficient and high quality service and is not stored or processed.
- Technical assistance on the user interface For assistance, please contact info@nyd.care
