The President of EPEKA Association, Štefan Simončič, who has recently also assumed the role of Deputy Representative of NGOs in the Interministerial Working Group on the Prevention of Radicalisation, will attend a meeting of the Interministerial Working Group in this field.

The meeting will take place on 10 April 2026 at 9:00 AM at the premises of the Government Office for the Support and Integration of Migrants (Cesta v Gorice 15, Ljubljana).During the meeting, participants will discuss the current state of play in the field of preventing radicalisation, review the implementation of planned activities, and present key insights from a study visit to Austria, where they were introduced to the work of the Ministry of the Interior and relevant security institutions .

The meeting brings together representatives of various ministries, government offices, and organisations, enabling a comprehensive approach to addressing the challenges of radicalisation prevention. The active involvement of the non-governmental sector represents an important contribution to developing inclusive and effective solutions.
