Michaela Kauer MBA, Head of Brussels Office of the City of Vienna

Experienced Head of Office with a history of working in the field of public policies with a particular focus on housing, public services, long-term investments and urban policy. Trained in public affairs, EU policy advocacy, political science, government policy and international relations. Business development expert with an MBA with a focus on international public management from the University of Salzburg.

Member of the Council of Experts of the Vienna Regional Advisory Board on behalf of the Vienna Fund for Housing and Urban Renewal (“wohnfonds_wien”), 1995 – 2003 and 2009 – 2015
Member of the Jury and the Council of Experts for real estate competitions on behalf of the Vienna Fund for Housing and Urban Renewal (“wohnfonds_wien”). Member (former chairman) of the Expert Advisory Board of the Climate and Energy Fund of the Republic of Austria (“Klima- und Energiefonds”) 2007 – 2015. Long-term strategic advisor to the City of Vienna in the fields of urban planning, housing policy and housing construction, energy efficiency, ecology and environmental technology.
