The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., in cooperation with Mycological Museum of Slovenia,, is organizing a professional excursion: Fungi in Tržič. It will be led by Katarina Apostolides.

Tržič, with its rich natural heritage and diverse forest areas, is an ideal starting point for exploring mycological diversity. The excursion will take place in a relaxed but informative atmosphere, where each participant will contribute to the discussion and learning.

The excursion will be led by Katarina Apostolides, a renowned mushroom expert and enthusiastic nature researcher.

The excursion is part of EPEKA’s broader efforts to strengthen environmental literacy, promote field learning, and connect people with nature.

The entire youth program is free of charge for EPEKA participants, as it is funded by the City of Maribor, the Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Youth, and the Ministry of Public Administration. Other partners who additionally support the program also contribute to its implementation.
