You are invited to a talk with Jasmina Vidmar, who will present her field and photographic work inside Slovenian prisons and will give an insight into the functioning of the prison system in Slovenia.

We will learn about the types of prisons in Slovenia, how prisons differ from each other, and the differences between male and female prisons. We will also learn about the different rules that apply within Slovenian prisons, the opportunities that prisoners have within these prisons, and the hierarchy that applies within prisons. We will see photographs that the author has taken in prison environments and learn about the project she has been involved in. The project collected stories of male and female prisoners and encouraged their reading culture and literary expression.

You are also invited to the exhibition of Jasmina Vidmar, which will take place at the Epeka Gallery, Koroška 8, on 24 January at 18:00. More

The activity will take place from 15.00 to 16.30.
