As part of the Literary Evening for Roma Children and Adolescents project which we’ve carried out in 2021, we organized the last event that took place on Thursday 23 December at 6 pm on our premises. The guests were Tone Partljič and Rok Vilčnik.

With the last event this year, we rounded up the implementation of the project Literary Evenings for Roma Children and Adolescents, co-financed by the public calss for the selection of cultural projects in the Roma community in the Republic of Slovenia, which will be funded in 2021 culture. Authors Tone Partljič and Rok Vilčnik presented their work as part of the event, reading excerpts from their works to children and adolescents.

The purpose of the Literary Evenings for Roma Children and Adolescents project is to guide Roma children and adolescents in activities that support their social competencies, among them to stimulate interest in children’s and youth literature, encourage them to spend their free time actively, , motivate the target group for active participation in the performance of school obligations (home reading, reading badge).

The project is funded by the Ministry of Culture.
