The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., and the Association for Roma Women’s Integration Loli Luludi cordially invite you to the final conference of the international project Strengthening the capacities of the non-governmental sector working in the field of the Roma community and the inclusion of Roma women in the work of NGOs, which is co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme (KA210-ADU – Smaller Partnerships in the field of general adult education).

The project focused on researching the functioning of the NGO sector working with the Roma community and on finding ways to better integrate Roma women into NGOs. The main objective of the project was to promote the participation of Roma men and women and to strengthen their role within the NGO sector.

The project is coordinated by the Association for Roma Women’s Integration Loli Luludi, in cooperation with partners:

  • EPEKA, so.p. (Slovenia),
  • TSENTAR ZA MEZHDUETNICHESKI DIALOG I TOLERANTNOST AMALIPE (Bulgaria),
  • Együttható Közösségépítő Egyesület (Hungary),
  • ROMNI – APS (Italy).

In the framework of the two-year cooperation, transnational and local activities were carried out, resulting in two key intellectual outputs:

  1. A compendium of good practices involving work in the field of the Roma community.
  2. A series of ten podcasts aimed at learning more about Roma culture and identity.

The final conference will take place on Wednesday 16 October 2024 at the Rog Centre, Ljubljana, starting at 11:00 and ending at 13:00.

All activities of the final conference will be held in English.

The project is co-financed by the European Union.

  • 11:00: Welcome address and presentation of the project
  • 11:15: Presentation of the consortium partners’ areas of activity
  • 12:10: Workshop on Roma inclusion in the NGO sector
  • 12:45: Discussion
  • 13:00: Informal gathering
