The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will participate in the online event Open4Business: Empowering SMEs in the Western Balkans – Pathways to the EU.

The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood (DG ENEST), in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (CCIS) and the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) through the FINNO platform, invites you to a regional event.

The event covers the Western Balkans region, namely Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia.

The event aims to facilitate private investment in the region by:

  • informing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises about access to EU-supported financing, in particular under the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF).
  • promoting networking between SMEs in the Western Balkans region, between EU and Western Balkan SMEs and between SMEs and financial institutions (Business-to-Business and Business-to-Finance)
  • promoting knowledge exchange between local and EU businesses, public authorities and DG ENEST on policies as well as barriers to doing business.
