The private Institute for Hospitality and Tourism Na Planoti, Soc. Ent. (for short Zavod GOST na Planoti, Soc. Ent.) was founded in 2008. Since 2013, the Institute has also been a social enterprise.
The purpose of the Institute is to carry out various activities in the fields of promotion and implementation of tourism, sport, culture and education, employing various vulnerable groups in the labour market. In this way, the Institute creates new employment opportunities, provides additional jobs and ensures the social integration and professional reintegration of such groups into the labour market. The Institute also operates in the public interest and does not seek to make a profit. Currently, the Institute co-manages the Herbal Centre in Grgarske Ravne and the tasting and promotional space “Vinoteka SOLUM” in Nova Gorica.
