The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., is a partner in the Erasmus+ youth exchange project Passport to Your Job. The youth exchange will take place in March 2017 in Hajdúböszörmény, Hungary.

Passport to Your Job is a 9-day youth exchange aimed at teaching young people about the competences they need to get a job and changing their attitudes towards work, which can have a wider social impact. It will take place in March 2017 in Hajdúböszörmény, Hungary. The project will bring together young people from different countries, with 4 participants (18-25 years old) and one leader from each country. The participating countries are Norway, Germany, Spain, Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary. The participants will be unemployed young people and young people with fewer opportunities, but also young people with a lot of experience in the labour market who are willing to share it with others are welcome.

The main objective of the project is to provide young people with new competences that will help them to find a job and to change their attitudes towards work. The programme is aimed at young people who do not yet have a vision of their own career and those who have already reached a certain level of education but have difficulties in finding and getting a job. It is desirable that young participants have an interest in working abroad, and those who already have experience of working abroad, who are educated or who have a lot of work experience are also welcome.

The organisers want to ensure a varied and diverse programme and have divided it into three main parts:

In the first part of the programme, participants will explore their own personality. The first part of the programme will focus on their personality, with personality tests, conflict management and team building games. This will give them a clearer picture of themselves, help them to identify which skills they have and which ones are worth developing further.

The central part of the programme will focus on helping participants to develop the relevant competences for successful job search and recruitment. This will be done by assessing their own motivation for work, facing a variety of situations in situational games, problem solving, creating a career plan that will also help them to gather, set and achieve their employment goals. The lecture will teach participants how to write a good cover letter and CV, learn what a creative CV is, and create their own.

The last part of the programme will focus on working abroad, which participants will learn about through various creative methods such as Word Café, situational games, video making, drawing, etc.

Informal learning is a great opportunity to talk about the project topic in different ways and to highlight it from different perspectives in just a few days. Participants will gain knowledge and attitudes that will help them decide whether they want to work abroad or not.
