Roma Station, Maribor

On Tuesday, 13 October 2020, at 14.00 and 16.00, we invite you to the VNRC Roma Station for informal training in the field of event preparation and organisation.

If you would like to learn more about the organisation and preparation of public events, we invite you to join us for a training course, which we are organising together with Factumevent and their representative, Mitja Špes. The training will cover the legal aspects of organising a public event and the specificities of measures to prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2 infections. We will present the basics of event promotion and the most advantageous ways for successful promotion. We will also review the basics of financial planning for an event and how to deal with unforeseen costs and other complications.

The training will be delivered by Mitja Špes, founder of Factumevent and organiser of major events in Maribor and across Slovenia (Opera Night in City Park, Chilli and Chocolate Festival, Street Food Market Maribor, major sporting events).

Due to measures to limit the spread of SARS-CoV-2 infections, the activity is organised in 2 iterations, which will limit the number of participants per session. Please contact us before your participation to let us know whether you will participate in the first or the second iteration.

The first session will take place from 14.00 to 15.30 and the second session from 16.00 to 17.30.

Participation is free of charge.
