Roma Station

On Tuesday, 20 April, we invite you to an activity at the VNRC Roma Station, where we will present opportunities to work on a farm and help with agricultural tasks.

The activity will look together at alternative employment opportunities and build on the activity where we looked at young farmers. The speaker will present the project he is involved in – Farm, a place of diversity (funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development). The project aims to train vulnerable groups to work on farms, either to gain work experience and skills, rehabilitation or as part of an integration process. Farm relief work can be a complementary way of earning an income and can also be a way of gaining experience to set up your own farm. The activity will introduce you to key agricultural tasks in different seasons, especially those that require more hands.

Due to restrictions and the number of participants, please note that the activity will take place in two groups – please register by phone or email in the group that suits you best, the maximum number of people in each group is 8.

The activity for the first group will take place from 16.00 to 16.45 and for the second group from 16.45 to 17.30.

Participation is free of charge. The event will be held in accordance with the recommendations of the NIJZ.

For more information, please contact us by email or on Facebook.
