Maribor

The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., participated in the preparation of the Roma civil monitor report.

The aim of the pilot project ‘Capacity building for Roma civil society and strengthening its involvement in the monitoring of national Roma integration strategies’ is to contribute to strengthening mechanisms for changing the implementation of national Roma integration strategies through systematic monitoring of civil society. The added value of civil society monitoring comes from the independent status and field experience of the participating NGOs. In cooperation with the Roma Youth Support Association and the Roma Association Romano Pralipe, we have prepared a presentation of the project’s findings and, at the same time, to open up a discussion to further identify the issues faced by the Roma community in the Maribor area.

The activity started at 11:00.
