We would like to inform you that we have published the second civil society report on the monitoring of the implementation of the National Strategy for Roma Inclusion in Slovenia. The report includes an assessment of progress in key public policy areas of the Strategy.
The civil society report on the monitoring of the implementation of the National Strategy for Roma Inclusion in Slovenia was prepared by Maja Skalar, an independent expert, in cooperation with the Scientific Research Association for Arts, Cultural and Educational Programmes and Technology, the Association EPEKA, a social enterprise.
The report was prepared as part of the pilot project Roma Civil Monitor, “Strengthening the capacity of Roma civil society and increasing its involvement in the monitoring of the National Roma Inclusion Strategy.” The pilot project is being implemented for the European Commission, DG Justice and users. The project is coordinated by the Centre for Political Science at the Central European University (CEU CPS), in partnership with the European Roma Grassroots Organisation Network (ERGO Network), the European Roma Rights Centre (ERRC), Fundación Secetariado Gitano (FSG) and the Roma Educational Fund (REF), and is being implemented by around 90 different NGOs and experts from 27 Member States.
Although the Roma Civic Monitor pilot project, of which this report is part, is coordinated by the CEU, the report presents the authors’ findings, which do not necessarily reflect the views of the CEU. The CEU cannot be held responsible for any use which may be made of the data contained in this report.
