The Institute Slokva, Soc. Ent., was created as a response to rising unemployment and social exclusion, as well as an awareness of the importance of sustainable development and healthy lifestyles.
More and more people are now realising that food is losing taste and quality as the chain from producer to consumer lengthens. Because they care about the food we eat and value the efforts of local producers, they have decided to offer locally produced and organic food, without intermediaries and transport routes, lovingly produced, delivered the same day from local producers in Carinthia.
They are increasing the trend of demand and supply for local and organic food in Carinthia and beyond, connecting producers and consumers. By distributing organic and local food boxes, they help farmers to market their farm produce. They provide assistance with farm work, clean up public areas and carry out other work in agreement with the Municipality of SG and other institutions.
