A representative of EPEKA, Soc.Ent., will attend a training on “Social Impact and Enterprise Development”, within the RESEES – Interreg project, which will take place at the premises of the RRA for Podravje, in Maribor.

In 2022, the Institute for Economic Research commissioned the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology to develop a Social Impact Measurement model for social enterprises. A Regulation on social impact reporting by social enterprises will be adopted shortly, also based on inputs from social enterprises. On 26 June 2024, the Government adopted the Amendment to the Companies Act (ZGD-1M), which transposes four directives of the European Parliament and the Council, including the Directive on Sustainability Reporting of the Social and Environmental Impact of Large Enterprises (Social Impacts), into the Slovenian legal order.

The workshop is aimed at introducing the Kanvas tool of the business model with social impact and going deeper into its individual building blocks through practical work according to the needs of the participants. It is suitable for beginners who want to create a new business model, as well as for existing companies and organisations who want to complement or optimise an existing business model within the social economy sector.
