14 – 22 November, 2018
London, United Kingdom

Representatives of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will take part in the Youth Exchange Social Inclusion through Artistic Tools, which will take place in London, United Kingdom, from 14 to 22 November.

The Social Integration with Artistic Tools initiative aims to support youth workers to better integrate young migrants by developing their skills as youth workers – using innovative and creative artistic tools. The result should be increased motivation, creativity and initiative on the part of both youth workers and migrants, making Europe more inclusive and cohesive.

The project will bring together 32 people (27 participants, 3 trainers, 1 youth trainer and 2 support workers) in London between 14 and 22 November 2018. The participants will come from nine different programme countries: the UK, Sweden, Poland, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Italy.

The working methods are primarily based on active participation and learning of the participants, which will be promoted through non-formal and informal activities. The main methodological approaches will be based on:

  • creative thinking and artistic methods
  • experimental learning
  • cooperative and peer learning
  • external activities

Participants will be actively involved in the preparation of the training programme by creating interactive presentations with partner organisations and gathering information on the subject.
