THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOCIAL ECONOMY IN SOUTH-EASTERN EUROPE

Štefan Simončič, President of The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will participate in the Regional Conference on the Development of the Social Economy in South-Eastern Europe, which will take place in Brdo pri Kranju from 24 to 25 April 2017.

The main purpose of the conference is to promote social enterprises in South East Europe (SEE) in the following countries: Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Albania, Romania and Bulgaria. Such cooperation provides a platform for the development of social enterprises in South East Europe, where both private and public experiences can be shared, contacts exchanged and a common regional strategy developed.

The regional conference is organised by the Republic of Slovenia in cooperation with the European Commission, partner countries and organisations.

The Youth Programme of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., is supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport – Youth Office of the Republic of Slovenia.
