Slovenske Konjice
The Youth Centre of Dravinja Valley, Soc. Ent., started to operate in the local area as an internal organisational unit of the Students’ Club of the Dravinja Valley in 1999. Since 2003, it has been a private institution active in the field of youth and culture in the municipality of Slovenske Konjice. The Youth Centre of the Dravinja Valley, Soc. Since 2003, it has been a private institution active in the field of youth and culture in the Municipality of Slovenske Konjice.
To date, they have become the largest youth and NGO organisation in their municipality. Its vision is to activate young people, promote active citizenship, raise cultural competences, increase social responsibility, promote youth mobility and non-formal education. MCDD provides premises for a number of youth associations in the municipality, music groups, choirs and other organisations. They are perceived as an important player in the local area, they have the highest scores among youth centres at national level, and internationally they are one of the most active youth organisations.
