As part of the activities we are organising within the multi-purpose Roma Centre, we will also organise a training on volunteering.
The training will define what volunteering is, why we recognise the importance of volunteering, who can become a volunteer, what a person who decides to volunteer commits to, what the rights and obligations of volunteers are, and where people can get involved if they want to volunteer. We will show the wide range of activities covered by volunteering and that each individual can certainly find a suitable organisation where he/she can volunteer in an area that interests him/her and where he/she can gain new experience, skills and competences. The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., employees who will take part in the activity, will also present their personal experiences of volunteering and how to identify a good organisation.
Activity time: 16.30 – 18.30.
Participation is free of charge.
