The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., took part in an interactive e-talk as a part of the festival Mladi Maribor (Young People of Maribor) which will entirely take place on online platforms. Petra Kovačec presented the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., active both in the field of culture and art, volunteering, ecology and encouraging intercultural dialogue.

Before the epidemic, the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., was closely involved in the international mobility of young people, but now they are focusing their efforts on non-formal education (acquiring young people’s learning competencies). Within the Youth Center Roma Station, they carry out various activities for children, including learning assistance, for which we are currently looking for volunteers who have the joy of working with children and want to help them overcome various obstacles to quality education.

The discussion was intended for all the young people who want to learn more about volunteering in a youth organization and those who would like to be actively involved in it.

The event takes place as part of the Mladi Maribor festival, which this year takes place entirely on online platforms. The facilitator also monitors the comments during the transmission, so you can actively join the conversation at any time!
