Roma Station
On Saturday, 27 June, at 16:00, we invite you to an informal training on volunteering, organised by Jera Lorenci, Assistant Associate of the Roma Women’s Social Activation Project, at the VNRC Roma Station.
The training will give you an overview of what volunteering is, how you can volunteer, your obligations and those of the volunteering organisations, the type of work involved, who can volunteer, how it is done, how it is reported and other issues that are key to understanding the meaning and benefits of volunteering. We will also be joined by a long-standing volunteer from Epeka, Soc. Ent., who will present her personal experience.
The activity will take place from 16:00 to 18:00.
Participation is free of charge.
The project is part-funded by the European Social Fund and the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities and the European Union. The operation is financed under the Operational Programme for the Implementation of the European Cohesion Policy 2014-2020, Priority Axis 9 “Social inclusion and reducing the risk of poverty”, Priority Investment 9.1 “Active inclusion, including the promotion of equal opportunities and active participation, and improving employability”, Specific Objective 9.1.2 “Empowering target groups to move towards the labour market”.
