Representatives of the Association EPEKA, a social enterprise, will participate in the webinar “Open judicial data, AI, and transparency in the digital age”.

The webinar will feature a guest speaker from the Council of Europe and the University of Oslo, who will explain how digital technologies, including artificial intelligence and open data, are transforming justice systems. We will discover how these innovations are improving the transparency, accessibility, and management of legal knowledge. The meeting will highlight the role of open justice data in promoting a fairer legal system, the impact of artificial intelligence on legal decision-making, and the importance of respecting human rights.

Participants will learn about best practices for licensing and reusing court decisions in Europe and the current legal obligations for publishing judgments online. The webinar will conclude with a roundtable discussion, providing an opportunity to communicate directly with the speakers.
