19 – 24 January, 2020
Águeda, Portugal
Representatives of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., attended the Youth 19.27 seminar, where they were educated about European values and helped the organisers, Psientífica, with advice on sustainable youth policy.
CONTEXT
In Europe, we find many barriers that contribute to an undefined identity. Unfortunately, future generations do not foresee an inclusive and active participation based on dialogue and intercultural diversity, which ultimately produces scenarios of social inclusion and identity fragmentation. These scenarios will be more present in our societies in the future due to the growing refugee crisis, the increasing number of asylum seekers and migrants.
THE PROBLEM
The problem perceived in society is the social exclusion and identity fragmentation of young people in Europe, due to the absence of inclusive youth strategies that reinforce social dialogue and cultural diversity.
SEMINAR ACTIVITIES
Reflection, sharing, debate, co-creation and interaction to develop content related to the project, adapted to the theme, objectives, outcomes and expected results. Skills and learning development; developing youth strategies sharing practices and experiences. This activity foresees 4 youth workers per organisation + 6 trainers + 3 facilitators (41 participants).
