13 – 14 October, 2023
Brussels, Belgium

The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., is taking part in the Round Table on “Integration of Unaccompanied Minors: Potential, Challenges and Policy Proposals” in the framework of the #Civilhood project in Brussels.

The roundtable is part of the EU project “Improving the transition of unaccompanied minors to early adulthood through civic education and labour market inclusion – Civilhood.”

Speakers at the event highlighted the key areas of intervention, the obstacles faced by beneficiaries and the challenges that arise in the work of organisations. They also stressed the critical importance of developing an integrated policy strategy to support hospitality and integration, implemented within the framework of a single European policy for the protection of minors.

We presented and handed over recommendations to improve the situation of minors to the host of the meeting, Theresa Bielowski, and to other MEPs such as Petros Kokkalis, and to the offices of Milan Brglez and Irena Jovev.

The event gave both the speakers and the audience the opportunity to discuss and exchange views on the topic.”

The consortium partners are:

Supported by the European Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF), Ministry of Public Administration.
