7 June 2021

In the week from 7 to 12 June 2021, Epeka will host an international activity for the staff of partner organizations within the ELMI project (Education for Labor Market Integration: Enabling Educators to Better Target Low-Qualified Adults).

The activity will include two work packages. The first will be training for educational staff, focusing mainly on working with vulnerable adults in the field of basic competencies and digital skills. The emphasis will be on educating adults who have very poorly developed core competencies as well as working with groups of learners who come from different backgrounds and have a wide range of knowledge and skills. The second set will be dedicated to visiting good practices dealing with adult education in Maribor. We will visit public and non-governmental organizations that work with vulnerable adults in various ways, especially with the aim of approaching the labor market. During the international activity, we will visit together and get to know 8 good practices in the local environment and also exchange knowledge and experience with staff working in organizations in the field of adult education in Maribor.

The project, led by Epeka Berlin, involves five partner organizations: Epeka Slovenia (SI), IASIS (GR), ROMNI -APS (IT), Epeka Serbia (RS) and the EUROPEAN INSTITUTE OF OUTSOURCING FOUNDATION (PL).
