The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., as a partner of the project EU Funds, organizes the so-called Islands of Youth Work.
The European funds – European Regional Development Fund, European Social Fund and Cohesion Fund – have helped support numerous successful stories of people, organizations, private companies and others. In the last 15 years more than 6000 came true – be it sports, environmental, commerical, infrastructural or educational. They have been all over the place and we often don’t even notice them, but they do improve our lives and make them better and nicer. EU Projects will present their stories this year as well through interesting wokrshops for the younger and the older, interactive exhibtions, puppetry, hikes, sport games and other fun activities.
In the youth center Roma Station on Preradovičeva street 1 in Maribor, on 16th May, the Islands of Youth Work and education will take place, covering different areas:
- ICT and multimedia;
- innovation, commerce and social enterprise,
- communication in first and second language
- sport and culture
We will tie together experiences, knowledge and views that the parcipants of the Fair Employment project have gained during the project.
