A member of the EPEKA Association will attend an important follow-up meeting dedicated to refreshing impressions and reviewing the results of the September development-business mission to Rwanda. This event represents a key touchpoint for all delegation members striving for the continuation of activities and strengthening of bonds established in this East African nation.

The purpose of the meeting is primarily an open exchange of information, initiatives, and visions for the future. Rwanda has proven to be one of the most dynamic environments in the region in recent years, making it crucial for Slovenian NGOs and companies to strategically plan our future steps. The discussion will take place in a relaxed atmosphere, allowing for more direct networking and the formation of concrete project ideas.

The presence of representatives from the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MZEZ), specifically the Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid, gives the meeting special significance. Their participation is key for:

  • Coordination of future activities in countries receiving Slovenian aid.
  • Strategic positioning of Slovenian actors within International Development Cooperation (IDC).
  • Systemic recognition and support of the contribution of Slovenian organizations abroad.

We believe that through collective action and the transfer of knowledge in the fields of social affairs, education, and entrepreneurship, we can achieve sustainable impacts that benefit the local population in Rwanda while enhancing the international reputation of Slovenian expertise. The meeting is an opportunity to align our initiatives with national strategies for developmental aid.
