Roma Station, Maribor

You are invited to a lecture and workshop on social entrepreneurship, which will take place at the Roma Station, Preradovičeva 1, at 3 pm.

During the last international activity of the Erasmus+ KA2 IGDV project, we will organise a workshop for international guests and the interested public on setting up social enterprises and their importance for social cohesion.

During the workshop, which will last 4 hours with a coffee break, participants will learn about the legality of social enterprises, the comparison of the legal framework for social enterprises in different countries and the importance of social enterprises for social cohesion. The mentor will work with the participants to draft social enterprise business plans that address the needs of the target groups addressed by the participants’ respective organisations. In line with the IGDV project orientation, the workshop will focus mainly on social enterprises set up by vulnerable social groups with the support of external mentors.

Due to its international orientation, the workshop will be held in English. Participation is free of charge.
