The main activity of the cooperative, the social enterprise Kooperativa DAME, z.o.o., Soc. Ent., is the development of sustainable tourism and catering.
You can recognise us for our delicious fruit and vegetable savouries, made with locally grown fruit and vegetables. Aware of our cultural heritage, we place great emphasis on preserving old, traditional recipes, which we innovatively incorporate into our banquets and catering. It is important to emphasise that we use local, fresh and organically produced food as much as possible in the preparation of our dishes. We also spend a great deal of time developing and preparing desserts, which are characterised by their delicious and delicate flavours. As we are aware of the diversity of tastes, we also cater for vegetarians and vegans. In the centre of Maribor, on the right bank of the river Drava, in the cosy ambience of our restaurant, we offer homemade, local culinary delights. We prepare delicious lunches, seasonal dishes, spoonable dishes – vampe in the Trieste style, “the real thing” beef goulash, mushroom soup with buckwheat groats, …or you can choose something from our varied menu. In addition to our daily lunch offer, we offer fresh, homemade breakfasts, snacks, salads, desserts and much more. At the DAME Co-operative, we know how important it is to choose a gift that will be etched in the memory of the recipient.
