The Association EPEKA, a social enterprise, and on its behalf the project manager in Slovenia, Štefan Simončič, gave a lecture on “Opportunities of Roma Cultural Heritage in Slovenia”. The lecture took place in the framework of the ROMHERITAGE project at the Slovenian Ethnographic Museum in Ljubljana.

The lecture was dedicated to the presentation of this interactive and educational initiative whose main objectives are the presentation, development and promotion of Roma culture, language and identity in Slovenia https://romheritage.eu/.

The lecture was based on various pedagogical and interactive methods and included a workshop and discussion, as well as relevant stakeholders from state institutions to the interested general public. The aim of the lecture was to spread awareness and promote understanding of Roma cultural heritage in different regions of Slovenia in the wider society.
