The Assocation EPEKA, Soc. Ent., took part in the online seminar Webinar: Funding for Civil Soceity and Local Actors.
Priority Area 10 (PA 10) of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) aims at institutional capacity-building and cooperation at local, regional and national level, involvement of civil society in public governance and increasing local development. One of the main activities of PA 10 is to improve the current situation regarding the inclusion and involvement of civil society and local actors stakeholders. Bringing Europe closer to the citizens is an ongoing activity within the European Union for many years as well.
The involvement of civil society organisations and local actors is a crucial step towards comprehensive and successful development in the Danube Region.
Against this background, the webinar aims at:
– Discussing various challenges regarding the involvement of civil society organisations and local actors in regional development in the Danube Region.
– Providing an overview about available funding opportunities from different EU funding programmes and beyond
