We invite you to attend a training session for members of civil society about Shoa.
In 2023, the Association EPEKA, a social enterprise, will continue its cooperation within the Shoah – Remember 2023 project. In this year’s edition of the project, we will conduct trainings for members of civil society, Roma activists and other participants who are interested in the prevention of discrimination against the Roma community.
The training will focus mainly on the topic of discrimination, on the identification of different types of discrimination, on the available legal remedies for victims of discrimination, on the competences of the bodies responsible for preventing and dealing with discrimination, and on the support mechanisms available to the Roma community when reporting discrimination. Participants will receive teaching materials related to the topics covered. Training is a as part of the project PRESS.
Within the project we prepared Training materials for representatives of NGOs, Roma mediators, Roma activists and members of the Roma community on preventing and reporting discrimination in Slovenia (in Slovenian language only) You are kindly invited to view the resulting materials and use them in the context of your engagement with the Roma community.
