Prešernov trg, Ljubljana
CNVOS (umbrella network of Slovenian non-governmental organizations) will organize the 23rd LUPA Festival of NGOs, the largest presentation of the NGO sector in Slovenia, at Prešernov trg in Ljubljana between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m..
The event brings together over a hundred associations, institutions and other organizations, which present their activities, projects and initiatives for a more solidary society to visitors. The festival is an excellent opportunity for networking, exchanging knowledge and ideas, and learning about the diverse fields of activity of Slovenian NGOs. You can find more about the festival here.
The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will also be presented at the festival, which will introduce visitors to its current programs and major projects:
- Social Activation+: a social activation program that enables the long-term unemployed to acquire new skills, motivation and support in finding employment.

- Roma Soul Food: a European project that researches, documents and presents the rich Roma cultural heritage through cuisine and music, thereby strengthening intercultural dialogue.

- Digital vs Corrupt: an international initiative that addresses the problem of corruption and promotes transparency with digital tools and youth training.

- With youth work against youth precariousness – Pilot Project – the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent.: a project focused on supporting young people in understanding and overcoming the challenges of precarious work and finding more stable forms of employment.

In addition to projects, we will also present our ongoing programs in the field of youth work, which include various forms of non-formal learning, support for young people with fewer opportunities, and activities to promote active participation, volunteering, and creative spending of free time.
The EPEKA youth program is co-financed by: Youth Office of the Republic of Slovenia, Municipality of Maribor and Programme Erasmus+.
